Barrel Aged 1314

English Strong Ale

A Wyoming Whiskey barrel aged English Strong Ale that has been aged for 12 months. English strong ale is a rich, complex malty sweet beer with hints of figs, raisins, dark fruits and balanced with a dry alcohol finish. Barrel aging will impart bourbon flavors of wood, coconut, vanilla, caramel, licorice, brown sugar and cinnamon. These nuances will be noticeable in the aroma and aftertaste. Barrel aged beers are very complex and intense. They should be enjoyed over a longer period of time to allow the beer to warm up and change in complexity. It is not meant to be consumed quickly.
